I called housekeeping an no one answered. I called maintenance and no one answered.

I called to front desk to complain and no one answered. You could see the carpet was vacuumed only where the head of the vacuum could fit under the bed. I looked under the bed and found the carpet to be 80% covered in the same level of dust as was behind the headboard. You had to jiggle the wire and outlet in order to find a spot where the wires made a connection. There was a thick coating of dust from the 1980’s back there and the outlet that the lamp plugged into was hanging out of the wall with no cover. I needed to plug my cell phone into an outlet behind the bed and was appalled. The room was supposed to be non-smoking and the first thing we smelled when we walked in was smoke! - The room was deplorable. We were relegated to what they called the historical Dennis Tower which translates to old, with minimal maintenance. There were only four clerks at 4:00pm and they take the priority line first so just when you think the line will move, another priority customer shows up and you continue to wait. What I Liked: - Our room had a view of the boardwalk and ocean - The shampoo / soap amenities were excellent What I Did Not Like: - They do not guarantee a king bed until you check in - The comp room was for a Dennis Ocean Double - The wait time to check in was too long. There were also sections of the casino where new machines were being installed. I was surprised to see that Harry’s Bar has been replaced. The day I checked in it was a virtual ghost town in the casino. I have never been a big fan of this casino which is no longer associated with Caesars. Since I was offered a complimentary room, I thought I would give it another try.
